Perishables

Since the beginning, the transport of perishable products has been a specialty of the FAUVEDER company.

History begins with the loading of full ships of butter and meat in the port of Brest. Then, over the years and the development of refrigerated containers, our company has been able to capitalize on this experience to today reach the figure of 12,000 teu's processed per year, or a third of our containerized activity. Figure to which we must add our weekly shipments by air.

Quality of service, responsiveness in relation to the perishable nature of the goods, respect for the cold chain, mastery of veterinary and phytosanitary regulations have largely contributed to developing and maintaining our reputation for temperature-controlled transport. Today, we have the trust of our customers in dairy products as well as meats, fruits and vegetables, seafood, bakery and pastries, coulis, drinks and other processed food products.

Since 2015 we have expanded our service offering by transporting pharmaceutical, industrial or chemical products that require controlled temperature during transport.

AGRI-FOOD

  • The expertise acquired in the perishable field has naturally allowed us to develop our activities in the agri-food sector more generally.
  • In fact, we have convinced and retained the loyalty of a number of leading companies in dairy products, oils and condiments, wines and drinks, canning, flour milling, confectionery and even biscuits.
  • Today, nearly 60% of the goods we transport are food.
